Sweet and Sour Turkey Meatballs Recipe

This recipe uses ground turkey breast rather than ground beef, hence reducing calories, fat, and saturated fat. Here’s a tip: compare the nutrition labels of meats wherever possible. You will see that ground turkey has much more fat and calories than ground turkey breast.

Ingredients

Meatballs

2-pound turkey breast ground

2 eggs

1 cup of ground oatmeal produced by a food processor

1/2 cup fat-free plain Greek yoghurt

3/4 tsp salt

Sauce

1 cup ketchup

1/4 cup sugar substitute

1 tablespoon vinegar

1 tbsp mustard yellow

1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  • Combining meatball ingredients. Form into 2-inch balls. Put in a large baking dish.
  • Combine the ingredients for the sauce. Serve atop meatballs.
  • Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for one hour.
